Project planning, design, construction management and schedule control.
Project Management, Project Controls and System Administration of Primavera Systems.
Preparation of scopes of work, review and evaluation of proposals/bids, preparation of contract awards, contract modifications, acceptance of work, project progress and financial reporting.
Progress monitoring and resolution of issues impacting successful project delivery.
Provide technical assistance during planning, design and construction phases of projects.
Prepare and recommend Statements of Work for planning, design or construction phases of projects.
Perform reviews and provide recommendations for approval, revision or disapproval of design submittals (drawings and specifications), environmental studies and reports, cost estimates for construction and environmental remediation reports projects.
Perform reviews of life cycle cost analyses for proposed projects, value engineering studies, LEED submittals and other architectural, engineering and environmental work as may arise.
Assist in the evaluation of initial contracts and contract modifications for fair and reasonable costs and assist in the re-scoping of projects to meet budget constraints.
Prepare Independent Estimates for A-E services and construction projects.
Assist in the evaluation of construction bids and proposals. Assists in answering bid/RFP questions and prepares solicitation amendments for approval of Contracting Officer. Attends pre-bid or pre-construction conferences prior to start of construction.
Assist in resolving technical design and construction issues which may impede project progress. Identify issue(s), alternatives and make recommendation(s) for solutions.
Review A-E and Construction contractor payment requests and make recommendations for payment.
Prepare analysis of Value Engineering firm's proposals for changes to the design work. Prepare recommendations for acceptance or rejection of proposed VE items.
Review design scope changes, including analysis and schedule impact.
Attend meetings with Awarding Officials, Grant Officers, Contracting Officers, construction contractors, A-E firms, Grantees, and other project stakeholders as deemed necessary to brief stakeholders about the project or determine steps necessary to move projects forward. Document meetings and develop action plan for required follow-up items.
