NS Services as a Program Manager provides oversight of the purpose and status of projects in a Program and uses this oversight to support project-level activity to ensure the overall program goals are met. At times we also act as Project Manager by managing day to day functions to achieve project goals within given time and budget.
NS Services deal with a full range of environmental regulations from federal to state and city levels, administered federally by the Environmental Protection Agency. A rigorous environmental process is undertaken to examine the impacts and possible mitigation of any construction project. Depending on the scale and impact of the project, an extensive environmental review is known as an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), and the less extensive version is Environmental Assessment (EA) or Categorical Exclusion (CE) is needed. Environmental Documents follow guidelines from National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
The Hazardous Materials/Waste Investigation & Management consists of technical staff knowledgeable in and experienced with the application of State and Federal environmental regulations to determine presence or absence of waste and it's impacts to the environment. If impacts are determined a remedial plan is developed to meet the cleanup goals.
Whether it's new construction, remodeling or renovation work, we approach each project with the care and craftsmanship to make our clients repeat clients. This is and has been the premise behind our success.
